Why Contribute

If you’ve stumbled onto this page and you’re confident that you made a mistake, no problem. We’re not the kind of church or organization that wants to take anyone’s money who might be giving out of guilt or manipulate anyone into feeling obligated to support the work here. Our heart is to participate with people who have a common vision for a thriving church community in the heart of West Seattle. We’ve set this page up for those who are willfully contributing their generosity from a heart of love for the city, the church, and the intersection between the two.

How to Contribute

If you’re convinced you want to partner with us, it’s really straight forward. Fill out the handy form above to give through our secure online giving portal and follow the instructions (for recurring contributions you must create a user account). All contributions are tax deductible as gifts to a charitable organization and you will receive a statement at the end of the year for your tax records. If you have any questions, please contact us here: treasurer@westseattlechristian.church

Funds Distribution

Our approach to finances is simple—allocate heavily to core ministry programming and outreach while keeping facility investments to a minimum and avoiding any kind of debt. Some people might call us frugal or tight, but to us, that sounds just about right. This way, when you give to our General Ministry Fund, you know that your money is going for more than keeping the lights on. It’s the foundation that makes it possible to do the work we were created for.
